I randomly found this little old Bahraini house restaurant on Google Maps and I instantly fell in love. This is my second visit and I’ll definitely keep coming back again and again! It truly feels like visiting someone’s home: warm, cozy, full of love, both in the ambiance and in the food. I come alone, and on my second visit the chef Azizitoes and waitress Lin didn’t even let me eat by myself, they sat with me and kept me company, and sharing a great exciting story. So, so sweet! They even gave me complimentary cheese samosas and dessert. And the fish with rice? AMAZING. Chef Azizitoes even told me that if I ever want to eat anything, just tell him and he’ll cook it for me. What lovely people. What a beautiful place

If you are on the Pearling Path, this place is a must go. My friend and I discovered this magical gem by chance while exploring the area, and you do feel like you truly step into the history of the area when dining here. We were touched by the warm welcome from the staff, and had such a delicious meal prepared by Chef Aziz. The seafood and salads were fresh, with generous portions and everything was plated very nicely. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stopped at The Old House Bahrain while walking the Pearling Route, and it was a fantastic experience! We had the crispy fried shrimp, which were perfectly cooked with a light, crunchy coating made from rice flour (the chef himself came by to explain this unique touch!). The fresh juices were equally delicious and refreshing. The place has a cozy, local vibe that adds to its charm. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic flavors and warm hospitality in Bahrain..

A lovely experience! Aziz gave us a warm welcome and guided us through the menu. The food was delicious and very well priced for the large, tasty portions we received! There is also a small museum room with interesting pieces from earlier days here in Bahrain. Highly recommend this lovely spot as part of a traditional Bahraini experience!

We ordered a delicious kingfish speciality dish as well as a meat mandi, with refreshing juices. The staff are beyond kind and provide the most heartfelt service, with special thanks to Azeez! Altogether a sensational experience; the dreamy restaurant and the service likened to familial hospitality. It was truly a wholesome visit to an authentic traditional home.
